First, I would like to say thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and otherwise supported us this past holiday season. Without you, none of our work would be possible. From all of us at Santa's Helpers Foundation, THANK YOU!
I am very happy to say that we were able to donate over 150 items of food, clothing, and gifts for needy children in 2021. Of the funds used by Santa's Helpers Foundation, 88.78% went directly towards the purchasing of new clothing, food, and toys. Administrative fees, consisting of bank fees, and phone bills, accounted for 1.77%. Marketing fees for our website and advertising accounted for 2.29%. Unfortunately shipping and delivery costs exceeded our expectations and accounted for 7.16%, which is a figure I am not proud of and will correct in the future. Santa's Helpers Foundation spent 0.00% on salary or wages.
Overall we had a very successful year and I am looking forward to leading the sleigh as we glide over the hills into 2022.
